Itinerary

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and assisted for your transfer to Dambulla (approx. 5 hours drive). En route, visit the world-famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, established in 1975 as a sanctuary for orphaned, abandoned, and injured elephants. This unique conservation site is home to over 60 elephants and offers guests the rare opportunity to witness elephant feeding sessions and bathing experiences in the river, depending on the scheduled timings.

Continue your journey towards Dambulla and check in to the hotel for leisure and relaxation. In the afternoon, proceed for a visit to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most remarkable archaeological monuments in Asia. Rising nearly 200 meters above the jungle, Sigiriya showcases ancient engineering brilliance, frescoes of celestial maidens, landscaped water gardens, and the ruins of King Kashyapa’s sky palace at the summit. Overnight stay in Dambulla.

Morning visit to the sacred Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to the 1st century BC. The temple complex consists of five magnificent caves adorned with ancient murals, over 150 Buddha statues, and intricate paintings depicting. Buddhist history and Sri Lankan heritage.

After the visit, proceed to Kandy (approx. 3.5 hours drive) via Matale Spice Garden, where you may experience Sri Lanka’s worldfamous spices and Ayurvedic healing traditions. Arrive in Kandy and check in to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Kandy.

Today is dedicated to exploring the cultural capital of Sri Lanka.

Visit the beautifully landscaped Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya, home to more than 4,000 plant species including orchids, palm avenues, giant bamboo and rare tropical flora.

Proceed to the sacred Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, the most important Buddhist shrine in Sri Lanka, believed to house the tooth relic of Lord Buddha. The temple complex is a symbol of sovereignty and spiritual heritage.

Continue with a guided Kandy city tour covering the Lake Promenade, colonial-era architecture, local markets, and panoramic viewpoints.

Later visit a Gem Gallery showcasing Sri Lanka’s world-famous gemstones, followed by an evening Cultural Dance Show featuring traditional Kandyan drumming, fire dancing, and folk performances. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Proceed to Nuwara Eliya (approx. 2.5–3 hours’ drive), known as “Little England” due to its colonial charm, cool climate, and Britishstyle architecture.

Tea Plantation & Tea Factory experience

Upon arrival, explore Gregory Lake and surrounding landscapes, followed by visits to Seetha Amman Temple and Asoka Vatika, both linked to the Ramayana legend. The town offers a refreshing climate, colonial gardens, flower blooms, and scenic landscapes surrounded by misty mountains. Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.

Proceed towards Bentota (approx. 5 hours drive), descending through scenic hill country landscapes.

Madu River Boat Safari: A scenic boat ride through mangrove forests, cinnamon islands, and small fishing communities.

Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery: A conservation project dedicated to protecting endangered sea turtles and releasing hatchlings into the ocean.

Bentota Water Sports: Enjoy optional adventure activities including: Jet Ski, Banana Ride, Tube Ride. Overnight stay in Bentota.

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Bandaranaike International Airport (approx. 2 hours. drive) for departure flight back to India.

  • If booking is 30 days in advance from the travel date: Advance of 15% of the package cost required
  • If booking is between 30 days to 15 days in advance from the travel date: Advance of 30% of the package cost is required
  • If travel is within 15 days of the travel date: We will require 100% payment.

Cancellation Policy

  • 01–15 days: 100% cancellation charge.
  • 15–25 days: 50% cancellation charge.
  • 25–30 days: 25% cancellation charge.
  • Above 30 days: No charge.
