Itinerary
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Beyond Journey representative who will assist you with immigration and airport formalities.
You will then be transferred to your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned coach. Upon arrival, our representative will assist you with a smooth check-in. Enjoy some time at leisure to refresh and relax. Overnight stay at Cairo.
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your full-day guided sightseeing tour of Cairo.
Start with the magnificent Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Explore the legendary pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, and marvel at the incredible architectural achievements of ancient Egypt.
Continue to the iconic Great Sphinx of Giza, a monumental limestone statue depicting the head of a Pharaoh and the body of a lion.
A short visit to a Papyrus Institute or traditional perfume shop may be arranged before continuing your tour.
Enjoy lunch at an Indian, Oriental, or Chinese restaurant before proceeding to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).
Discover the fascinating world of ancient Egypt as you explore the museum's impressive galleries. Admire magnificent statues, royal treasures, ancient monuments, and other remarkable artifacts. Walk through the Grand Staircase and explore exhibitions arranged chronologically and thematically.
Visit the major galleries, including the Tutankhamun exhibition, and admire the Solar Boats of King Cheops. The museum's architecture also provides impressive views towards the Pyramids, creating a unique connection between the museum and the surrounding archaeological landscape. After an early breakfast, depart Cairo for a full-day guided excursion to Alexandria.
Begin with a visit to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the modern library and cultural complex created to revive the spirit of the ancient Library of Alexandria.
Continue to Qaitbay Citadel, a historic Mamluk fortress located on the Mediterranean waterfront and built on the site associated with the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. The visit will be from outside.
Explore Pompey's Pillar, an impressive ancient column made from Aswan pink granite, followed by a visit to the fascinating Kom El Shoqafa Catacombs, an underground necropolis dating back to the Roman period.
Later, visit the beautiful Montazah Gardens, a sprawling coastal park surrounding the historic Montazah Palace. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the landscaped gardens and take in the Mediterranean views.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant during the tour. After completing the sightseeing, drive back to Cairo. Overnight stay at Cairo.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC).
Discover Egypt's rich cultural heritage at NMEC, which presents the story of Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times through the modern era. Its collections showcase the country's diverse cultures, traditions, beliefs, art, and heritage across different periods of history.
Continue to the historic Cairo Citadel, one of the city's most important medieval landmarks. Explore the fortress and enjoy panoramic views across Cairo.
Visit the magnificent Mosque of Muhammad Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque, renowned for its Ottoman-inspired architecture, impressive dome, elegant minarets, and extensive use of alabaster.
Later, head to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of Cairo's most famous traditional markets. Stroll through its atmospheric narrow lanes, explore local shops, and browse handicrafts, souvenirs, jewelry, spices, and traditional Egyptian products.
Your guide will also share interesting insights into the history of the nearby Al-Azhar and Al-Hussein areas. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay at Cairo.

- If booking is between 30 days to 15 days in advance from the travel date: Advance of 30% of the package cost is required
- If travel is within 15 days of the travel date: We will require 100% payment.
Cancellation Policy
- if booking is 30 days before the travel date: 100% refund for International Packages.
- Between 30 days to 15 date before the travel date 10% of the total cost will be deducted on International Packages.
- Between 15 days to 1 Day before the travel date: 100% cancellation on International Packages.
