Itinerary

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, complete your immigration and baggage formalities. You will then be met by a representative from Southern Africa 360 and privately transferred to your hotel, conveniently located in the heart of Cape Town.

After check-in, the remainder of the day is at leisure. You can relax at the hotel or explore the surrounding area, with several restaurants within walking distance, including Indian dining options. Overnight stay in Cape Town.

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day scheduled city tour covering some of Cape Town's most iconic landmarks and cultural attractions.

The tour takes you through the historic heart of the city, including the South African Museum and Company’s Garden, Parliament Buildings, City Hall and the Castle of Good Hope. Continue to the colourful Bo-Kaap, known for its vibrant houses and Cape Malay heritage, followed by a visit to Greenmarket Square and Signal Hill.

The tour also takes you along the scenic Atlantic Seaboard, including Camps Bay and Clifton.

Table Mountain: If the Table Mountain Cableway is not operational, the tour will proceed to Table View, offering a spectacular panoramic view of Table Mountain. The afternoon is free at leisure. We recommend visiting the V&A Waterfront, home to a variety of shops, restaurants, entertainment venues and waterfront attractions. Overnight stay in Cape Town.

After breakfast, meet your guide and set out on a full-day Cape Peninsula tour, exploring the spectacular coastline and natural beauty of the Cape.

Drive through Clifton, Camps Bay and the Twelve Apostles before continuing towards Llandudno and Hout Bay. You may opt for a boat trip to Duiker Island / Seal Island at an additional cost.

Continue along the scenic Chapman's Peak Drive, subject to road conditions and opening status, before travelling through Noordhoek towards the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.

Explore Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, with a return funicular ride to the top of Cape Point included. Continue to Simon's Town, home to the famous African penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

After breakfast, your rental vehicle will be delivered to your hotel. The hotel team will assist you with setting up the GPS before you begin your self-drive journey to Stellenbosch, approximately a 45-minute drive from Cape Town.

En route, you can visit one of the renowned Cape Winelands estates for a wine-tasting experience and lunch at your own expense.

Continue to Stellenbosch and check in to your hotel after 2:00 PM.

Stellenbosch is renowned for its beautiful oak-lined streets, historic architecture, cafés, boutiques, art galleries and surrounding vineyards. The town is also framed by the scenic Jonkershoek and Simonsberg mountain ranges. The evening is at leisure. You can enjoy dinner at your hotel, in the town centre or at one of the nearby wine estates. Overnight stay in Stellenbosch.

After breakfast, begin your scenic self-drive journey to Hermanus, travelling along the beautiful R44 coastal route. The drive takes you through Strand, Gordon's Bay, Pringle Bay and Betty's Bay, offering spectacular coastal scenery along the way.

We recommend stopping at Stony Point to see the African penguin colony and visiting Harold Porter Botanical Gardens. You can also stop at one of the charming restaurants along the route for lunch.

Arrive in Hermanus and check in to your hotel after 2:00 PM.

Hermanus is famous as a premier Southern Right Whale-watching destination. The afternoon is free to explore the town, including Voelklip and Grotto Beaches and the Old Harbour Museum. Adventure activities such as shark-cage diving, ziplining and quad biking are also available at an additional cost.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at one of Hermanus' excellent restaurants. The town is renowned for its vibrant culinary scene. Overnight stay in Hermanus.

After breakfast, continue your self-drive journey towards Knysna, one of the most picturesque destinations along South Africa's Garden Route. Drive through scenic towns and coastal landscapes, with opportunities to stop at Mossel Bay, George and Wilderness for sightseeing and lunch.

Continue towards Knysna and check in to your hotel after 2:00 PM. Later, explore the charming Knysna Waterfront, a popular leisure and shopping destination featuring a marina, restaurants and boutiques.

In the evening, enjoy the Featherbed John Benn Sunset Cruise, subject to weather conditions, followed by dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants.

Activities: Featherbed John Benn Sunset Cruis.

Optional visits: Mossel Bay, George and Wilderness.

Overnight stay in Knysna.

After breakfast, set out on a day trip to Oudtshoorn, located in the scenic Klein Karoo and famous for its ostrich farms and proximity to the Route 62 wine region.

Visit the spectacular Cango Caves, one of Africa's most famous cave systems, featuring impressive limestone formations and underground chambers.

Continue to Cango Wildlife Ranch, where you can experience a variety of wildlife and conservation activities.

Later, visit the Safari Ostrich Show Farm for an insight into ostrich farming and an opportunity to participate in an ostrich-feeding experience. After completing the day's activities, return to Knysna.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants along the Knysna Waterfront.

Overnight stay in Knysna.

After breakfast, depart for Port Elizabeth, travelling through the scenic Garden Route. En route, pass through Plettenberg Bay, known for its beautiful beaches, vineyards and outdoor activities, and continue towards the lush Tsitsikamma region.

Depending on your interests and available time, you may visit attractions such as Tsitsikamma National Park, take a walk across the suspension bridge or enjoy optional adventure activities including canopy tours and the famous Bloukrans Bungee Jump.

Proceed to Port Elizabeth Airport, where you will return your rental vehicle. From the airport, you will be met by a representative from the lodge and transferred on a shared basis to Kwantu Private Game Reserve.

After check-in, embark on your afternoon game drive, exploring the reserve's diverse wildlife and natural landscapes. Return to the lodge in the evening and enjoy dinner.

Overnight stay at Kwantu Private Game Reserve.

Start your morning early with a tea or coffee, followed by your first game drive of the day.

Explore the diverse landscapes of the reserve, which include grasslands, fynbos, valley bushveld and subtropical vegetation. Keep an eye out for Africa's iconic wildlife, including the Big Five, zebras, giraffes, hippos and wildebeest.

Return to the lodge for a warm breakfast and enjoy some time relaxing at the lodge before lunch. The reserve is also excellent for birdwatching, with more than 250 recorded bird species, making it a rewarding experience for bird enthusiasts.

Later, head out for your second game drive of the day, followed by dinner at the lodge. Overnight stay at Kwantu Private Game Reserve.

Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out. You will then be transferred by shared shuttle to Port Elizabeth Airport for your onward flight.
