Itinerary

Arrive in Shimla, check into your hotel. Leisure at the hotel.  Shimla is capital of Himachal former capital of British also set amidst, the snow copper, Shivalik mountains which offer some of the most beautiful view of Himalaya Reach. Overnight stay at hotel.

Full day sightseeing for KUFRI and NALDEHRA and Jakhu Temple, Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town The Mall & The Ridge. Overnight stay at hotel.

Travel to Manali (7–8 hours), stopping en route at Sundernagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, and the Vaishno Devi Temple in Kullu. Check into your hotel and relax for the evening. Overnight stay at Manali.

After breakfast, sightseeing of places in and around Manali, like Hadimba temple, Manu temple, Vashisht Bath, (trek/Walk to Jogini Fall optional), Van Vihar and evening shopping at the local market. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Hadimba Temple: Also known by the name Dhungari Temple, as the name suggests, the temple is dedicated to Hadimba Devi, wife of Bheema. The wooden architecture of the shrine is very distinct from most Hindu temples you will come across in the country.

Manu temple: The Manu Temple is dedicated to an old sage after whom it has been named. The pagoda-style architecture of the shrine stands out amidst the deep valleys and mountain peaks. You have to hike a little to reach the temple, but the views at the summit and the spiritual vibes it exudes make all your efforts completely worth it.

Vashisht: A place of great spiritual importance, Vashisht village is home to a beautiful temple set amidst the dramatic Himalayan topography. It is believed that the temple has a history of more than 4000 years and the interiors of the shrine feature wooden carvings, antique figures, and paintings. What makes this destination even more unique is the presence of hot springs that are believed to hold healing properties.

Jogini Fall: Jogini Waterfall is located around 2 kilometers away from the famous Vashisht Temple. What makes it a popular tourist spot is the trek from Vashisht Temple, through pine trees and orchards, to the mesmerizing Jogini Waterfalls cascading from a height of 160 feet.The trail starts from the Vashisht temple is scenic and gives you a glimpse of the River Beas and the snow-capped peaks of Rohtang. A must visit place for those people who love to walk in the mountains, a refreshing 45 minutes from Vashisht is worth experiencing.

After breakfast an excursion to Solang Valley and further to Atal tunnel till North pole. Evening at Leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Solang Valley: Located at about 8400 feet above sea level, Solang Nala is a short drive away from Manali. It is a haven for adventure and sports lovers.

 

 

After breakfast, drive to Dharamshala. Visit Baijnath temple, War Memorial, Kangra Art Museum, Dally Lake, and St. John's Church. Explore McLeod Ganj and check into your hotel for the night.

Baijnath: The Baijnath temple located in the hilly state of Himachal Pradesh holds high religious importance amongst followers of Hinduism. It is a highly popular temple as it houses one of the 12 holy jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva in the country and devotees from across the country throng the temple to offer prayers to the lord. The temple, constructed in 1207 AD.The Baijnath temple redefines the Nagara style of architecture, which is highly popular in Himachal Pradesh. While the inner and outer walls of the temple boast of exotic carving and sculptures depicting incidents of Hindu mythology, the inner sanctum houses the holy shivling. After Breakfast drive from Dharamshala towards Dalhousie after doing the local sightseeing of Places which includes, His holiness Dalai lama residence at Mc leodgunj, War memorial, Bhagsunath temple and Dal Lake. Reach Dalhousie in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Dalailama Temple: Dalai Lama Temple is just a walking distance away from McLeodganj bus stand, the Dalai Lama Temple is situated at the main temple road. Right next to the temple is the residence of the holy Dalai Lama. Dalailama Temple offers spiritual teachings of Buddhism, and several times his holiness Dalai Lama blessed the pilgrims. Quite fascinating are the morning prayers, of which one can be actively part of. Other than that, larger than life statues of Lord Buddha, Avalokteshwara and Padmasambhava, look really captivating.

Bhagsunath Temple: Surrounded by lovely pools and lush greenery, the Bhagsunag Temple is one of the oldest ancient temples located about 3 kilometres from Mcleodganj. Also, popularly known as Bhagsunath Temple, it is highly revered by the local Gorkha and Hindu community. The two pools around the temple are believed to be sacred and are considered to contain miraculous powers of healing.

Dal Lake: Located at the height of 1,775 metres above the sea level near the village of Tota Rani at Mcleodgunj, the Dal Lake is a small yet picturesque lake. The lake is surrounded by rugged mountains and towering deodar trees. Quaint and calm, the lake invites nature-lovers to watch different kinds of fishes in their natural habitat. After breakfast local sightseeing of Dalhousie and Excursion to Khajjiar, 26 km from Dalhousie also known as the Switzerland of India. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Khajjiar: Widely known as 'mini-Switzerland of India', Khajjiar is a small town located around 26 km from Dalhousie, known for its picture-perfect grassy meadows. There is a small lake in the middle of the meadows. There are plenty of day activities like paragliding, zorbing, and horse-riding at Khajjiar to make your day pleasant.
