Drive to Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi - Mombasa highway home to the proud and brightly painted Maa tribe of the Maasai, the acacia woodlands and grasslands of the park shelter an abundance of game including buffalo, lion, cheetah, hyena, zebra and wildebeest. Amboseli National Park lies below the most famous symbol of Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Its snowcapped peak will dominate the background while you marvel at the wildlife and scenery. Streams from Kilimanjaro surface in the centre of Amboseli, creating swamps that attract and support a rich diversity of wild animals and birdlife. Most of Amboseli is flat and dusty and so the best spots for game viewing are these wetlands.

Amboseli is one of the 60 Important Bird Areas (IBA's) in Kenya and thus it is recognized as globally significant for bird conservation. Drive through Nairobi road then divert at Mai Mahiu and follow the Mai Mahiu-Narok road which will lead u to Masai Mara National Reserve which offers wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Masai mara has got over 450 species of birds. One has to explore the plains and rolling hills for a chance to spot the elephant, black-manned lion, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, and with diverse species of hoofed animals. Spend the day in Maasai Mara with full day game drives giving you a chance to view the animals that eluded you the previous day. You can also engage in other extra activities as suggested by your tour guide.

Hot air balloon is a perfect way to fully understand the extent of the landscape as well as a great way to see vast swathes of animals as they move through their habitat. Taking a balloon safari is an optional activity offered at an extra cost, this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience the Masai Mara like few have. You can also allow yourself a visit to a Masai village; home to warriors of the plains who have a legendary relationship with the animals.
